While teaching my kindergarten class about the days of the week,I wrote all the days on the blackboard and asked the class to read them back to me.A worried -looking 5 year old told me I had missed the most important day of the week."which one did I miss" I replied, "Pay day!" he chirped back.

I was walking past a low mirror which the children use to dress infront of when they play pretend when I noticed a 5 year old peering intently at himself..I asked him what he was looking at and he said he wasn't looking at anything he was studying. Somewhat confused I asked him what he was studying " I have an eye test tomorrow" he replied..

My children got in a bit of trouble the other day and got sent to their rooms for a little while. I could hear them whispering to each other down the hall about being hungry and who was going to ask for a sandwich. My son, Mikey, 6 stuck his head out and said, "Mom? Can the prisoners have a sandwich?"

We live prety close to a few farms and one morning my precious said:

A few years ago during the summer on a very warm day, my family had a gathering at my aunt's home because she has a swimming pool. All of the kids were outside playing and my sister came inside and looked at my mom. "It's freezing hot outside!" she said.

I always taught my children about death and heaven because my parents lived with me and we werent excpecting them to live ver much longer.One day we where stop at a red light and furnel home was acros the street, my youngest daughter Sara ask what that place was for, I told her thats where you go when you die.She said " SO thats HEAVEN "
